Walk on the Wild Side: Native Trees

Led by horticulture staff of the Blomquist Garden of Native Plants.

Join horticulture staff and volunteers on a walk around the Blomquist Garden of Native Plants to learn about connections between people, plants and place. Each month will feature a different seasonal topic related to gardening with native plants. The June walk will feature native trees.

Fee: Free; registration required Location: Meet at the Gothic Gate entrance. Please note that the visitor’s center opens at 9 a.m. Restrooms and drinking fountains will be available then. Accessibility: This will be a small group program that takes place outdoors and traveling on a combination of paved and unpaved paths with some uneven surfaces and moderate inclines.

Fee: $10; 20% discount for Duke Gardens members with discount code

Location:Meet at the gatehouse entrance to the Blomquist Garden of Native Plants (B2 on the map)
