We hope you’ll join us at the Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, September 14, from 8-11 a.m., where you’ll find an array of plants ideal for this region, including Duke Gardens plants, trees, shrubs, vines, bulbs and air plants, as well as expert gardening advice from Duke Gardens’ staff and volunteers.

If you’re interested in becoming a Duke Gardens member and attending our members-only preview sale on September 13, please see our membership information page, and email any questions you may have to GardensMembership@duke.edu. Members receive 10% off all plants during the preview sale and the public sale.

Plant sale admission: Free.

Parking: Free parking for shoppers during the plant sale will be available in Gardens Parking Lot 1 directly across from the Doris Duke Center. After you drive in the main entrance, the entrance to Parking Lot 1 is on the left. The free reserved parking will begin one hour before the sale and end at the close of the sale.

Forms of payment accepted: cash, credit cards, checks.

Wagons/carts/boxes: Our supply of wagons and boxes is limited, so please bring your own if you have them. It will enable you to get your shopping done far faster. Thanks!

Pets: Dogs and other pets are not permitted at the plant sale.

Weather: Our plant sales take place rain or shine.

Support tomorrow’s interns: Did you know that profits from our plant sales help us to offer four paid summer internships to aspiring horticultural professionals each year? Duke Gardens’ full-time staff now boasts several former interns! We thank you for helping us provide a solid foundation for these talented pros and others like them.
