Horticultural Library

Named for a naturalist, nature photographer and Olympic skier, the Harriet Jackson Phelps Horticultural Library houses more than 2,500 titles.

Subjects covered include:

gardening in the Southeast
native Southeastern plants
landscape design
gardening memoirs
how-to garden guides
history of gardening
books on individual plant species

The library also includes the Triangle Orchid Society's library.

Books must be used in the library. They may not be checked-out.
