Whether you are planning a meeting, conference, symposium or social event, this page will help answer general questions for reserving the Doris Duke Center. Once you have reviewed the guidelines for booking your event, please submit the reservation form below and you will be contacted by our special events office.

Rental Details

  • Three-hour rental time
  • 100 maximum capacity for Kirby Horton Hall
  • 120 green/black Herman Miller chairs
  • Fifteen 60-inch round tables that seat 8 people each, plus eight 8-foot tables and four 6-foot tables
  • Two-hour setup and one-hour breakdown
  • Additional hours optional at $125 per hour
  • Caterer must be selected from Approved Caterers list
  • A signed contract and fund code are required to secure a reservation
  • Please contact the Special Events Office for pricing
  • Caterer must provide setup and breakdown of your event
