SUMMARY:Botany for K-3: A Four-Class Series
DESCRIPTION:Connect with a community of plants\, your kids\, and other adults as you learn basic botany through hands-on\, multi-sensory\, immersive activities among the plants of Duke Gardens. Sessions are designed for children in grades K-3 and an adult companion. Each session will focus on a different plant part: seeds\, roots and shoots\, leaves and flowers. \nDates: Tuesdays in September: September 3\, September 10\, September 17\, September 24 (Rain date October 1)\nTime: 4:00-5:00 p.m.\nFee: $64 for all four classes; 20% discount for Duke Gardens members with discount code\nLocation: Meets at the entrance to the Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden (D3 on the map).\nAccessibility: This program is designed to take place outdoors in the Duke Gardens.
