Mum’s the Word: Special Walking Tour of Show Chrysanthemums (Oct.)

Mums can be carefully cultivated to produce amazingly large blooms in a spectacular range of flower types and colors. Learn what makes display mums so special as Michelle Rawlins, Ruth Mary Meyer Japanese Garden Horticulturist in the Culberson Asiatic Arboretum, takes you to see these seasonal flowers on exhibit in Duke Gardens.

Location: Meet at the Barnes Welcome Center

Accessibility: This will be a small group program that takes place outdoors, traveling on a combination of paved and unpaved paths with some uneven surfaces and moderate inclines.
