From One to Many: Plant Propagation Walk

Join Jason Holmes, curator of the Gateway Gardens at Duke Gardens, on a walk through Duke Gardens to learn about different techniques and necessary materials for propagating plants. Learn which propagation techniques work best for plants you encounter along the way. You’ll leave knowing how to turn one plant into many in your own environment, whether through taking a cutting, making a division, grafting or growing from seed. Everyone will take home cuttings to root at home.

Fee: $32; 20% discount for Duke Gardens members with discount code.

Parking: Parking fees apply.

Location: Meet at the Barnes Welcome Center.

Accessibility: This will be a small group program that takes place outdoors, traveling on a combination of paved and unpaved paths with some uneven surfaces and moderate inclines.
