Meet the Keepers: Gardening

Plan your Duke Gardens visit to include this special opportunity to meet the keepers of the Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden. In this class, curator and horticulturist Jason Holmes will explore fascinating facts about plants and gardening.

The Meet the Keepers series also includes "bees," with assistant horticulturist Nick Schwab explaining what and how bees eat and how they communicate, and "chickens," in which horticulturist Lindsey Fleetwood will introduce you to the chickens and explain their preferences, including dust baths.

Dates and topics: April 12 or May 3, gardening; April 19 or May 10, bees; April 26 or May 17, chickens.

Location: Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden.
