Landscape Restoration

Visit a pollinator habitat restoration that serves as a living laboratory! This 10-acre landscape is being developed by students and faculty at East Chapel Hill High School as part of their environment curriculum. Not only will it bring real-world experience to science classes, it is also planned to serve as a learning source of beauty for the ECHHS community. Join us on a field trip to meet instructor Ed Kabay, a science an environment science teacher at ECHHS, and learn more about plant communities and habitat in action.

Location: meet At East Chapel Hill High School, 500 Weaver Dairy Rd, Chapel Hill, NC. Directions and parking information will be sent to participants.

Participant limit: 15.

Fee: Gardens members $10; general public $12.
