Landscape Installation & Maintenance: Annual Tasks

Course meets for 3 sessions

Moving on from installation and plant establishment, horticulture instructor Lauri Lawson will help you learn what a plant needs over time. Watering, plant staking, plant nutrition and pruning will be covered. Long-term maintenance issues including weed-control, fertilizing and pest control will be also be discussed. 

Instructor: Lauri Lawson, horticulture instructor and curator, Juniper Level Botanical Garden

Meeting dates: Saturdays, February 17 and 24, and March 3, 9:30-noon

Location: Meet at the Doris Duke Center.

Participant limit: 15.

Fee: Gardens members $75; general public $95.

Qualifies for Home Horticulture Certificate required course.
